Episcia requires bright but diffused light.
The most favorable place is the window sill of an east or west window. If the pot with the plant is placed on the north side, this will not harm Episcia, since it tolerates shade well. When growing a crop on a southern windowsill, it must be shaded with a curtain or a sheet of paper from direct sunlight, which can harm the foliage and ruin its decorative effect.
It is necessary to water Episcia carefully so that droplets of water do not fall on the leaf plates. It is best to water the plant through a tray. The water must be settled and at room temperature.
